Description
Crabapple Blossoms seem very happy with the moister from the snow. We haven't had nearly as much snow or rain as this fast growing town of Reno, "The Biggest Little City in the World", needs. The High mountains still need more snow or rain at the 6000 to 10,000 ft level. Therefore, at the 5000 foot level , we could us a little more too. So the crabapple tree didn't seem to mind that 3 or 4 inches of snow on it this morning at all, and it was certainly pretty!

Now it's 2 weeks later and the snow is melting away! A great visual of the seasons....in blossom. L/f

Hi Kathy, well I was hoping it was going away but we have two more snow storms headed our way tomorrow and Sunday! The news says more then we have had so far! My poor roses are making valiant efforts to get thru it all! I know we need the water but I am very tired of winter! Hope all is well with you and all your loved ones! Thank you for your lovely comments! Smiles!

Perfect capture....seems ironic to see spring blooms with snow, but I get it...we lived in Denver many years ago and saw a few of these!! lf/fb/t/p

A beautiful combination of colours Maaaam flowers and snow,Oh are you still Skiing & Roller skating ?? Ciao bella
Phyllis Kaltenbach replied:
Thank you, so very much, Smarty. I used to ice skate with a young man who skated for the Sonya Hainey (sp?) Ice Show when I was about 15. He would throw me up in the air and catch me. I was constantly amazed at how easy it was. I think I still could!.... 🤗 I went skiing occasionally but not the perfectionist I would have like to be, sir!. Smiles!

Thank you, so very much, Kathy. It was a delight to see. I don't think it hurt the blossoms but we may get some more snow tonight.
