Description
Optical Migraines come along much too often. Though sometimes interesting, they are very inconvenient! They are something that can't really be described, particularly to someone who has never had one. They always come with the jagged lines, sometimes as shown here, other times in a great deal more color. If one must have them, one would much prefer them in color. I wonder if it is just the elements in the air, or the time of day, that makes the difference in the amount of color. The ora is often preceded with the murky spongey looking movement, within the normal, vision and then a small ora, begins at the edge of the eye , giving you a little warning that the ora (the jagged lines) will be getting larger until the vision is, about, 3/4 blocked by that curved jagged line. Sometimes it is only on one side of the vision, other times it is blocking the vision on both sides. If one happens to be driving, it can block out half of the oncoming car if it is on the left side. (US) If it is on the right side it will block out the road signs. On the very first indication that a migraine is beginning, if, one is driving, the smart person would pull over to the side of the road and stop as soon a possible. Fortunately, for some, these migraines do not last long. Once they get from the little glimmer in the eye to the full blown size, they often disappear. Some people are fortunate that they do not have the terrible headaches which often accompany migraine oras.
