Description
This is a photo of my Mom and Dad. I am guessing this was their Wedding Photo, one week after they met. Since my Dad was born in 1903, I am only guessing on the date of the photo. Their story was very happy, and then, very tragic when they lost a precious 9 year old son, just a few months before I was born. My sister was 3 at the time of the tragedy and she remembered, well, her sweet brother. I didn't know about Fred Hilton Davis Jr. until I was about 17 when I asked who the boy was in the painting that hung in my sister's and my bedroom.
I don't like sad stories of any kind, so please forgive me for writing this, but I just had to show you this Flapper age photo. Our parents carried on to make a wonderful (sometimes, difficult, during World War 2) life for my sister and myself and we loved them, both, dearly.
The FAA watermark will never appear on you beautifully finished works of Art.***

A handsome couple
Phyllis Kaltenbach replied:
Thank you, very much, Skip. They were kind and loving. My Dad just about worked himself to death and made a wonderful life for us. I was his "cowboy" and helpmate.
