Yikes, Fern is outgrowing the bathtub! She is complaining because we live in such a dry climate. She thinks that a nice cool forest with sun coming thru the trees would be a much nicer place to live. We spray her every morning and night and water her then, also, so she is growing to be a very lovely flora, or whatever it is, that a fern is... She also gets a bath whenever one of us takes a shower.
It is quite fun to see the look of horror, when we are showing someone the house, and Bruce mentions that "Fern might be in the bathtub". Fortunately they usually chuckle when they see "who", or rather, "what" Fern is. We have had a lot of fun with Fern for a couple of years now, but she is beginning to outgrow the bathtub and we can't plant her out in the yard because she would never make it through this dry climate or the winters, even with the small amount of snow we get. We may have to ask a friend or a relative that lives in a more moist climate to take our beautiful fern.

Hi Steve. Well, now, a year later I have a "Walk In Tub", finally. It is bigger but unfortunately "Fern" is now living elsewhere. Smiles! Ochids have taken over!
