My Little Amazon Boy Metal Print

Thank you, so very much, Shoal. That was a very wet day. Fortunately I had taken most of the photos I had wanted. I got the photo, that became an acrylic painting, of the boy and monkey just before the skies opened up and drenched everyone, including an officer from the ship, wearing his "dress whites".

Thank you, very much Mohammad. Shortly after I took the original photo, the skies opened up. The ship's officer who was in a gorgeous white uniform was drenched (soaking wet), as we all were. When we returned to the ship, they were handing out huge towels to each of us as we walked back on board. I guess we all looked pretty bad but that white uniform took the worst of it! Poor guy...

Hi Randy. Yes, the Amazon cruise was wonderful. Many miles into the Amazon (our ship almost got stuck in the mud)! Just after I took this photo, it started pouring rain. The officer from the ship was in his beautiful "Dress whites". He was drenched, as were the rest of us! When we got back to the ship, they handed us great big towels to snuggle into on our way back to our rooms! The village was a delight! Smiles!
