I am on top of the Munich City Hall, above the wonderful animated clock. Munich, Germany. Munich, spelled the American way. I prefer the way the German's spell it only I I can' find an umlaut. We had wonderful times in Germany and several other European countries. We could speak enough German, Spanish, a bit of French and of course, our own English, that we could visit, just about, anywhere in Europe. We rented a little car, once we arrived by plane, stayed in B&Bs (Zimmer freis) and had wonderful times. One of my favorite places to go, after visiting Munich, was to King Ludwig's fabulous Castles. Everybody should have a chance to visit these unforgettable, very special places. England, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Norway, Sweden Switzerland and others. I loved the Autobahn in Germany. My husband is still "Hanging on"....! I loved the water falls, the goats and the gorgeous countryside, all over Norway! Another place we managed to get to, that I have always wanted to go was Venice.
