Description
This morning the snow is drifting down so softly and very pretty, piling up on the trees, the bushes and the outdoor furniture but leaving our sidewalks, driveway and streets clear. Her Highness, Pico, the soft furry Calico kitty, has decided that since it is not a good idea to go out side, she must take a nap IN MY LAP! So here I sit with a "cat in my lap"! - is that a good name for a book? Now that I think about it, a nap sounds pretty good, with a pretty, soft furry kitty, so trusting, in my lap. The cat in the image is a pottery candle holder. He weathers the snow quite well.

Adorable, glad you aren't getting the snow we have. We have broken all records for February for cold and snow! Stay warm...LF
Phyllis Kaltenbach replied:
Hi Judy! You have had to endure too much! The little bit we get, even at the 11,000 ft level, above us, is just keeping us out of drought. Somewhere up there someone is playing games with all of us. But we have really felt for all of you on the East coast. Our heart go out to you! I keep telling my husband, "Oh, my gosh "they" are getting it again!" You have certainly had your share, and then some, of storms this year! Please stay safe! We still think snow is pretty, but we know that there are times, that isn't the case! I brought my husband from Iowa to the West coast in 1953, so we have experienced the extremes in both places, but the NE has outdone everything, we have ever seen, this year, alone!

Great and very cold looking capture! fv
Phyllis Kaltenbach replied:
Thank you Jim! Maybe I should have named it Wicker & Snow. ;-) Pico (the calico cat) hasn't been outside since it snowed. Just sleeping here beside me.
