Asbed's Swishy Tailed Squirrell
Artist
Phyllis Kaltenbach
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
The squirrell lives in beautiful NE Canada. I love his long swishy tail and his antics. I painted this from a photo by Asbed Iskedjian of Fine Art America. I painted the squirrell because I think is so cute and his long bush tail is so pretty. I, Phyllis Kaltenbach, also belong to Fine Art America and I enjoy the photos and paintings of wonderful people who live all over the World. I enjoy "chatting" with with them.

How delightful! Love your interpretation of this beautiful character and scene! Yes, we both love animals so! I'm lucky -- my husband is just as crazy about them as I am! Fabulous work! fav
Phyllis Kaltenbach replied:
Thank you Dawn, very much. I am lucky too. Though my husband does not show his appreciation of animals, as obvious as I, do he silently spoils our cats, past and present, likes dogs but does not want one and thinks that anyone who rides a horse will eventually be injured. At 19 when we got married, I was removed from my life as one of Daddie's "Cowboys". I guess I could say, that I am being protected - but I do miss my horses... He also appreciates all wild animals, as iI do.

Thank you Phyllis for this beautiful painting you did of my flying squirrel, you have a talent of painting that I don't have, that same thing I have also said to a lady that she do painting and her answer to me was «...and you your talent is a photographer's eye... ».
